Milk Glass Cacti - My grandmother had pieces of milk glass, which became my first memorable impression of glass as art. I created a series of cacti that are frozen in time, like the memories that accompany pieces such as grandma’s milk glass and are passed on from generation to generation.
Liquid Landscapes - Art glass is created as beautifully large sheets with organic looking rolled edges. This series layers those organically shaped and gorgeously hued edge pieces into abstract landscapes based on specific locations.
Iceberg Series - While studying reactions between materials, I stumbled upon a series of icebergs as a representation of people. There's so much to who we are that the rest of the world doesn't see, hidden below the surface. I'm grateful to those who, like the viewer, see and appreciate all of a person.
